Does anyone have this problem? When i pull a cd out after playing, it's very warm to the touch? Is this normal? seems to work fine! The truck is a 2001 f-150 supercab, any input on this is appreciated.

 

I can't speak for OE cd players but pretty much every aftermarket player I've had generated a fair amount of heat. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about.

 

i have a aftermarket jvc deck in my crown vic that gets hot. every stereo guy ive talked to says dont worry about it.if it was just a regular am/fm radio and getting hot then id be concerned. but that cd is spinning around in there so...
