Interior fan continues to run when engine off
Interior fan continues to run when engine off
2002 F150 SuperCrew 5.4 V8
I noticed today when I went to start my truck that the battery was completely dead. After a quick jump start and a drive around to recharge the battery and think about what could be causing it I finally came back home and parked. Everything ran fine when I drove it around. When I shut off the engine I noticed the fan for the heat/ac was still running with the key out of the ignition and the door open. If I turn the selector to off it turned off the fan.
I this has never happened before. Every thing shuts off when I have turned the engine off before so I am struggling to understand what could be the possible problem? Bad battery, switch some where, connection or fuse..?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't really know, since you haven't put ANY info about your truck in your profile or your signature. I don't have a new truck like this thread is about, and I've never had to work on one with this problem. I was just posting some info from the Ford service CD to help him find it. Take a look under your dash.
Turn on your 4 way flashers and listen to the flasher relay. It is somewhere above and to the right of the ALDL connector. The blower relay should be right next to the flasher.
