Gauges have a full sweep on "start up" ??

Gauges have a full sweep on "start up" ??
Can anyone help me identify why my RPM and Speedo
will " sweep" when I start it up? 2000 F150 4x4 4.6 V8

That is usually a indication of a failing battery. Get the charging system at Advance Auto Parts,O'Reilley Parts,etc.

whenever the pcm loses power or drops below its threshold voltage, the gauges will do a sweep test.
