Dead Battery, Keys Locked Inside!

Yep I have a problem! Keys inside my truck, dead battery, door code doesnt work because of the dead battery and NO spare key. My question, how in the heck can I get juice to my truck enough to open the doors and pop the hood? Thought about trying to hook the battery charger to the starter but Im not sure if that will give juice to the whole system or not.
Also, is there anyway to pop the hood without having to use the inside lever?
Thats what I get for forgetting to power down my siruis radio and leaving for 4 days.
Thanks!

I would try the pos on the starter, not use if these trucks have an ext starter solenoid or not... if it doesn't that wire will go strait to the battery...you can ground anywhere on metal...

if that don't work, slim jim or lock smith to open the door...
don't do something dumb like break glass, lock smith is alway cheaper that glass....

Damn, did I just tell someone not to break glass...
i'm a glass installer.....

I've done this twice! It sucked..., until i figured out an easy way in. Get a wire coathangar or piece of wire, and then look through the grille, and you can see the hood latch cable. Look towards the end of the cable where the black covering ends, and you can see about a half inch, or inch or so of the actual cable (which is shiny silver). Make a small hook on the wire you have and reach in the grill and hook the cable and just pull! Thats all you do, and the hood is popped! It may be harder for some with aftermarket grilles, but on my stock honeycomb its really easy! Now you can jump off your batter, and your good to go!

Yes, you can connect a jumper battery to the starter solenoid's upper terminal. Just DON'T connect it to the lower one or you could overrev the starter motor. I've had to do it on a '92 MGM - you're lucky you have some ground clearance to crawl under there.

thanks guys, well Ill let you know how it goes, after I get to the airport tomorrow where my truck is at (60 miles away)
Im going to try the wire for the latch first and then when I get mad because I cant get it Im going to try the starter, then if that doesnt work, Im calling a lock smith or something if I dont break the glass on the window from getting P.Od first!

Well the wire through the grill worked! It took me a little bit just to find where I needed to hook it but then it was a snap! Thanks guys for putting my Ford back into my garage!

I have a fused 30 amp heavey feed from the battery to the rear of the truck that feed a relay for two hi powered backup lites plus a bumper socket to run an electric wench in the trailer.
That's were I would recover the vehichle for such a situation plus charge the battery if need be.
