Is this possible
Ok check this out. I have a 1998 F-150 50th Anni. Edition. I did not get a keychain remote for the locks when i got the truck. But I found my old keychain remote that worked with my 2000 Expedition that I had. Is it possible for my old Exp. remote to made compatible with my F-150 locks? Can they do this at the dealership?
Check your owners manual starting on page 46, on programming additional remotes for your truck.
It describes the process for adding remotes to the RAP, if installed.
If you don't have an owners manula, you can download one from :

or
www.motorcraftservice.com
or
www.genuineservice.com
1998 has 2 programming methods noted , cycle 5 times in 10 seconds or cycle 8 times in 10 seconds to erase all, and reprogram all remotes.
Both the cycle 5 times, and cycle 8 times say all remotes must be programmed at the same time ? Got me, I have never seen the cycle 5 times procedure until checking the 1998 OM
