Power Door Locks HELP!!

Yesterday I smelled something electrical burning in my 2002 f150. Shortly after I reailized that my locks are acting crazy.

When I hit unlock on the drivers door, they lock. They will not lock. When I hit the remote they will also lock if I push it a few times. The horn will blow twice and the locks act weird!! I can hear the clicking under the dash when the lock button is pushed.

I have read the several post on this site and would like to know if anyone has found the fix to this seems to be common problem

Thanks

OK, I replaced the RAP module under the dash. The locks worked for five cycles then stopped. I now have the normal light workings with the remote. The interior lights turn on and off with the reomte. The lights flash when armed but no door lock movement. This is the same on all four doors so I am sure it is not the actuators. I also had to replace the battery at the same time as it failed, five years old.

Any ideas on this one. Maybe a relay or something is really screwy going on??

Thanks in advance
