97 F150 Windshield Washer

My windshield washer doesn't work every time that I try to work it. I think that I saw a post on one of these websites one time about a GEM Module Switch or something and that this is a common problem for 1997 models??

Thats the first thing that goes out on the multi function switch. I think all the 97's have bad switches. You can take it out and clean the inside of it and it will work fine. They are $80.00 at the dealer.

the multi function switch is the blinker arm. The lever that you push the use the turn signal. Its very easy to replace. I don't have time right now to explain it but I'll try to get back on later.
