I just got my 04 f-150 fx4 (traded in an 04 ram 1500 gas sucker) and i have a few questions. First, I hooked up my sirius radio and what I found out is if I just plug it into the cig lighter than then the sirius radio is always on (even if the truck is off) This is bad because I dont want to forget to turn it off. Is there somewhere that is easy to get to so that I can tap into switched power? Second, what is the deal with the auto lights? Since that sense when it is dark and turn on then, what about when its raining? I was thinking maybe there is a switch in the wiper motor or something but when its raining in daytime mine headlights are still off. Third....the truck came with an "Access" roll-up tonnoeu cover which I do not like because I am always using the bed. I took it off and if someone lives close by to central jersey, make me an offer and pick it up. It is in great shape and is a soft black cover, secures with velcro and the bars that support it roll up with it. My truck is a supercab(small back seat with suicide doors) with a flareside bed...I think 6.5 ft.
