autozone door lock acutators

new f150 owner and proud of my truck. only thing that bothers me is the power locks do not work. it is an 2000 v6 ext. cab, and from my searches here, it seems like it must be the actuators. the dealer wants 60.00, but AZ has them for 41.99. are they worth getting, since the ford ones seem to go out regularly anyway? thanks.
also, if you know a better place to get them please let me know as well. thanks again

Check a car audio shop. Usually you can get them from $10-15 there.

You could check with Travis at kcautosound.com. Last weekend my buddy and I traveled to Kansas City to hook up with him to check out a stereo competition and then on sunday he installed power window, locks and remote start/alarm on my friends f150. He uses MES swiss made actuators. He actually showed us the differences between a cheap motor and a quality one. His have metal gears and a clutch system. I could deffinately feel the difference in quality between the two. Not sure what his cost for them since it was all a package he installed.
