radio

ford factory radio for a f-150 2001 4 x 4 does anybody know if it has a line in for a satellite radio?

I think so, just you have to get sat. radio tuner box. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking with a kit you'd be all set, just some show titles within the radio itself, like a Pioneer or new trucks with factory installed kit.

You will need to take a look at the application guide for the specific radio you have ( CD changer, no CD changer, RSE, etc ).

One of the manufactures is PIE.

Download the application guide at :

This is a line level input that uses the Aux button on the radio.

The listing shows:
F-Series Pick Up
1998-2003
PIE Part Number : FRDN-AUX
20-Pin connector at headunit
Radio must be CD-changer capable.

If you have a CD changer installed, you will need to check the application. With the in dash CD changer, I think ( trying to recall from when I had my radio out of my '01 ) it has the 20 pin connector, without the RSE installed.
