Gotta store my truck for a month...

the guy that is letting me use his pole barn to store the truck
says he would like to to disconnect the battery. I have no problem with this, but I have the following questions,

1. Will my factory electronics such as keyless entry etc. reset?
2. Will I have to worry about losing my radio or such?

(Btw, I have a 2001 Ford F-150 Lariat Supercab) Just want to get a rough idea what i gotta worry about for having no power for a month.

Disconnecting the battery is fine. Keyless entry will work once you reconnect battery. You'll have to reset all your favorite stations on the radio, but that's it.

Your keyless entry should be ok as long as your battery stays good in the remote.

Your radio will stay right where it is provided no one breaks into the truck, however you will loose your presets and settings.

Are you considering putting it on jackstands while you leave it? or are you gonna put "Stabil" or w.e its called in the fuel to keep it from seperating?

No, fuel will be fine. I stored mine for 4 months every winter with no problems. I have an 89' that sits most of the time with no trouble. I assume the pole barn owner wants to stop any chance of a truck fire.

Keyless entry is NVR in the RAP / CSM. Nothing to do with the truck battery or the remtoe battery. Both can be dead, and upon replacment, will work the same.

The battery disco, the truck will run strange once you put it back on. You will need to start it, let it sit for ~ 2 min, and then complete at least 2 drive cycles to start the learning process again.

Don't know if it is required, maybe cycling the ign from off to run postion ( not starting ) 6 times aka the run out of gas / fuel filter change procedure, to get fuel pressure back at the rail ??? I don't know if it would bleed off in a month, might not hurt to do this.

Until 2 drive cycles are completed, the truck might not run completly smooth, and you will have a DTC 1000 set, but this will only show with a scanner, the CEL is not on.

Fuel additive wise, I have read, and some do the sea foam run, prior to storing. This is what I am read, and seen people do.
My 9R gets stored all winter, and I just run the carbs dry on it, no additives to the tank or prior to storing, but that is in a heated garage. Dry needle and main jets = no "varnishing".

Fuel starts to break down at about 60 days, so you don't need to worry about using the fuel stabilizer for only 30 days unless you are really ****. Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer is pretty cheap anyway.

30 days is nothing. Keep the bird poo off it and it'll be fine. Not worth any extra effort.
