Installing a horn

Hey everyone....whats the easiest and most effective way to run wiring from where the horn is to inside of the truck. I am actually installing it just in front of the driver side wheel well, right behind the headlight, and want to run wires inside so i can have a momentary switch on my dash...i already did the mounting of the horn, but have yet to do the wiring, let me know please, details would be great, thank you!

what is the voltage to the horn? If it is around 12V I would wire it to the battery, put a fuse holder & fuse in the wire, take that wire to the switch, then from the switch to the pos. side of the horn, then but the negative wire to a ground point, and it should work good.

on my '00, there is an existing hole through the firewall with a rubber grommet covering. It's positioned a couple of inches above my brake peddle.
