You can remove the DRL resistor, and this should do the trick. FedEx pilots add in the DRL or the DRL add FAQ here show where it is at.

On my Dad's 2001 Itasca RV ( Ford chassis ) all ( yea, ALL, it was a PITA to get to it ) he did was remove the DRL resistor, and the DRL's stopped working. Now I can't recall if it had the DRL relay, I would think so, but I am drawing a blank at the moment.
