Fog light question

Aight, I dont have fog lights but would like to buy some. I have the black knock outs in place of them, but I cant find the wiring harness for it, do I even have a harness? Also, I have the regular headlight switch with no fog light symbol, but the switch does pull out and click when the headlights are on. Will that switch work if I have everything else?

that switch should work with the fog lights. this question has been asked before. the harness is probably there but i don't think it works no matter what you do. id buy the fog lights and then you can buy a premade harness or you can make one yourself.

I had the same thing on my 97, I wanted to just buy the lights and then wire myself, but they only come as a kit which includes the 2 foglights with brackets, the wiring harness and a new switch assembly @ $250. I'm 99% sure the original factory switch will not work.

'97 to mid '99 MY trucks don't have the complete harness. '00 to '03 (+ '04 Heritage ) will work with the factory switch.

'97 to mid ( or that might actually be late now that I think of it ) '99 MY trucks have a different fog lamp switch then the '00 to '03 ( + '04 Heritage ) trucks.
