2000 f150 door locks

my electric door locks have been getting lazy. the last week have barely worked at all. I tried unhooking one side at a time and same thing? you would think one of them would be causing the problem..pulling down voltage. anything else to look for before buying two new actuators, as they are over 100$ each in Canada from Ford!

nope, it's the actuators. Although I got mine from ford, I hear great success in ebay actuators. Maybe someone will chime in about what vendor and if they are drop in replacements.

YES MY NAME IS BILL I HADE THE SAME PROBLEM. I WENT ONLINE & FOUND A PLACE WHERE I COULD BUY 2 ACTUATORS. THE COST ME 108.63 FOR BOTH OF THEM, I INSTALLED THEM & THE DOOR LOCKS WORK BETTER THAN WHEN THEY WERE NEW. THE PLACE I BOUGHT THEM FROM IS WWW.DISCOUNTPARTSSTORE.COM. I HOPE THIS HELPS GOOD LUCK BILL

I bought mine from oemfordparts.com alot cheaper than the dealer and same ford part. Be aware the new actuators are a little different than what's in your truck. Supposedly improved (fixed the defect), but they bolt right up ...

Good luck.
