Disable keyless entry?

Any suggestions on disabling the keyless entry? This feature does not inspire much confidence regarding entry/security. Dealer tells me they can remove the door panel and manually disconnect although they have never done this and are unsure of the results. Suggestions or thread links would be appreciated.

Other issues: P.C.M. failure - replaced. Squeeky brakes - replaced. Tilt steering handle repeatedly falls off - no fix due to design. Squeeky tailgate latches - in the shop as I speak. New front bumber doesn't line up with body (yeah... I know, bad me... sigh) - manufacturing tolerances need some tweaking, even off the lot half of them don't line up. Guess I should have looked at the 'day' my baby was built.

Don't quite understand where you get :
This feature does not inspire much confidence regarding entry/security
5 digit code, anti scan feature, the truck would need to be sitting for about 324 hours, prior to someone guessing the code, taking into account that you did not reuse a number in the code.

If you want to remove the keyless entry, you would need to have the BSM / VSM reprogrammed without it. The problem with this is depending on the trim level on the truck, the as built data might shut something else off, that you still want to work.

In the future, try to refrain from the adding of non relevant information in the post, the list on the bottom has nothing to do with the question.

The first time you lock your keys in the truck, you will kiss Fords' butt for providing that keypad.

If someone wants your truck, the key pad is not what they will use to get it or get in. the key pad is something handy for you if you want into your truck and the keys are in the house.Thats was a selling point for me to buy my ford. You will find it handy as time go's by.
