under carriage lights...
I want to add some kind of light underneath the doors of my 99 f150. I want them to come on when I unlock and/or open the doors. Anyone have any suggestions on how to go about doing this? Thanks!!

Just want to check first, that you are talking about when you unlock the doors with the RKE or a keypad, did I get that correct ?
The install would be fairly straight forward if the interior lights come on when you unlock the doors, the way it sits now.
I don't want to spout off, and say just pull x circuit for the interior lamps to a relay for the side lamps, and you are done.
This is a thead where a member wanted to add the door entry lamps, for a newer MY then yours, but the wiring could be the same.
