Adding factory fogs?

I have done a decent amount of searching and can't seem to find the information I need. I recently put a harley front valence and fogs on my 03 XLT sport, but can't find the harnesses for the fog lamps. I have read that the XLTs came with the fog harnesses, is this true? Thanks for help.

Depends on the MY. I have seen some where adding the fuses and the relay, it works, I have seen others, that the harness is out in front, but the required wiring is not at the switch area.

Start with, do you have the connectors behind the bumper for the fog lamps. 1 on each side, don't confuse the drivers side with the DRL resistor plug.

Pass side I think is in the same loom as the horn wires, but I might be confusing that with the 04+ MYs

No, I have looked thoroughly for the connectors behind the bumper. I have not found the 1st connector of any kind that is not being used.

This could be a specific wiring for the XLT Sport. My '01 XLT was wired for them, but that was a straight XLT, in a 01 MY. Things can change.

Next step is do you already have the Ford fog lamps for the front end you installed ? A short way could be to make a wiring harness for them, and use the factory fog lamps switch to activate them.

The other way is the Ford add on fog lamp kit, but this would include to much equipment for your install.

Thanks for the help SSCULLY. I will see if I can get the Ford add on lamp kit and just go that route and be done with it.
