Hey I just got new headlights and I want to get rid of those factory bulbs, yes all of them. I was just wondering if anyone had aftermarket lights and what brand they are. I am looking for that BMW blue look but reallly clear and white light for my headlights and foglights. And I want to get rid of those ugly orange bulbs. I have seen the chrome bulbs that flash amber but those are kinda pricey. Does anyone have the blue turn signals that flash white? Or the blue corner lights that flash white?

 

Good question..I was thinking of going with HID's but I didnt want to blind oncoming traffic. Check out Hella bulbs. They are a bit whiter and put out more light than the stockers. Also the Silverstars from overseas are very bright. Not the Sylvania ones. Check out ebay for em..

 

If you are going only for the color of the bulb ( not light output performance ) you can look at the Hoen bulbs.

They have that color tint you are looking for, but put out much less lumens on the ground, as most blue bulb, HID want to be's do.

There are some pictures in my 3rd album with the direct on pictures ( for the headlamps, not the fogs ) and at 11' and 21'. The up close pictures show how much less the light output pattern really is on them.

Osram does not make the bulbs for the 04+ MYs yet. I have been keeping an eye out for them. I have the Osram Silverstars from EU in both of my motorcycles, and they put the US Sylvania Silverstars to shame.

Don't know what you are going to find, if you think the Sylvania Silverstar corner bulbs are a bit costly, they are not that much.
