Remote Start Questions!!!

Hey guys,
I just purchased a 2000 F150 XLT. When I bought ot, the dealer said the guy that turned the car into them gavve some extra "keys" with it. He had no idea what they went to so he said "I'll give them to you anyways."

So, later that night, my Dad presses one of the button. We hear something outside... What's that?!? The truck is on... yes it even came with a Remote Starter and the dealer didn't even know about it...

So I have a few questions...
What does each button do?
There is a little button under the steering wheel that is red... if I tough it a certain way it turns green, what's this do?
Is there a way to shut if off without going to the truck if I accidently turn it on?
Anyone able to tell me what type it is?
If per say it went on before I wanted it to, and I tried to turn it on again, would this be bad for the engine?
Thanks for all and any help.

Don't know what kind it is. The button is probably the valet switch to disable the alarm completely. The autostart should not try to start an already running vehicle if it's properly hooked up. They are on a timer and shut off by themselves eventually, like ten minutes or so. This is usually programmable. Mine shuts the motor down if I press the button again.

Like defective said, it should disarm everything, except maybe the lock unlock. Try it out. Also, I think the red button either shuts off the truck or makes the alarm go nuts. Just push some buttons, the worst thing that happens is that they do nothing. Mine has an unlock, lock, start (center) stop, and a trunk button that is void, but can be programmed for something else. Also, to keep it working, make sure the terminals on the battery is cleaned from time to time and lubed with silicone dielectric grease for protection.
