Big 3 upgrade
I'm not quite sure what you mean, "the big 3" is commonly referred to as Intake, Exhaust, and a custom Tune/tuner for the computer. These are the 3 easiest and most common engine mods.
Don't think I've ever heard of a big 3 associated with stereos

The BIG 3 are:
1) Battery negative to chassis
2) Alternator to battery positive
3) Chassis to engine
You upgrade these to larger gauge wire to support a large stereo system the exhibits dimming lights with large bass hits. Many people will bandaid this problem with a capacitor.

I would dump the cap...useless IMHO. They just drain from your electrical system and that's what your trying to avoid.
Do the big 3, add an extra battery if needed, and then maybe a HO alt if you still need more.
