Electical issues are driving me nuts!
I will admit that I am a complete novice at troubleshooting electrical issues, but I have to admit that while this seems like it should be simple, it is driving me nuts.
A while back, our 94 F150 (XLT, 2WD, 302, Auto) had the voltage regulator die and the entire system got better than 18 volts for a while. The regulator has been replaced, all is good except:
The tail lights do not work despite new bulbs. Brake lights and turn signals *do* work.
The dash lights do not work. The were intermittant for a bit before finally dying.
The wiper fuse keeps blowing. The wipers will begin to move when a new fuse is installed, but it blows almost immediately.
I have checked all the fuses in the truck and they are all fine except for the wiper fuse as I mentioned.
Does anyone have any ideas? I am reluctant to take it to my dealer as they suggested replacing the wiper/turn signal multifunction switch which I did. That did not change anything. So I'd rather not pay them to offer advice on replacing parts which are not the problem. On the other hand, I am stumped.
Help!!

Are these things related or do I just have three separate
