dielectric substitute

Has anyone ever used vasaline for a dielectric? Or is there a specific product that comes in a larger amount than the "condiment" size at Autozone?
Thanks a million

Ford makes the best dielectric grease I have ever seen. Comes in a toothpaste sized tube and works great. Local Ford dealer should have it in parts.

I'd recommend 3M Silicone Paste myself, great stuff.
