Dealer found a wire that was grounding to the body occasionally.
I posted about my battery going dead while at work on my 2004 F150 FX4. It's happened twice in the past 3 weeks - it's been at the dealer 5 days out of that 3 weeks. The cruise control went out a month ago and now it's blowing the 30 amp fuse for the Shift-on-the-Fly. The dealer replaced the fuse yesterday, I picked it up and tested it and it was fine. I got in it this morning and it didn't work again. Hopefully someone out there has had similar issues and has found solutions. I've had it in the shop 4 times in the last 3 weeks! Is there a common cause or just coincidences?
