ford remote start is intermittent
Hi everyone! I'm a new member to this forum after just buying a 2003 Heritage Edition, and I'm loving it!
My issue is that the remote start seems to be acting a bit strange. Sometimes it will not start: the park lights will flash twice and nothing else will happen. This only happens once in a while, but when it does, it can continue up to 3 or 4 times in a row (each time I press start on the remote) before starting successfully. On a successful start, the park lights only flash once (instead of twice on a failed start), then the headlights come on and the engine starts normally. Has anyone heard of this happening before, or have any ideas what the trouble could be?
