Green check light gone out

I just noticed recently that the green indicator light has gone out on my battery. Does that mean my battery is about to die? The battery is five years old, but it has no problems with starting my truck, powering all the lights and a 150w sub amp. Thanks for any info.

Nope. Don't even pay attention to the indicator eye. Want to know what shape your battery is really in? A load test with a carbon pile machine is the best way.

Cool man. As long as it'll start and the lights work, that's all I care about. Thanks.

Carbon pile machine? Was that a joke?

Analog? Welcome to the 1970's. I thought everything was digital these days?
