Trouble with remote starter

Well I spent the day wiring up the rmst/rke system. When I go to start programming it I can't get the horn to chirp so I never get it into programing mode. I checked the wires listed in the troubleshooting guide and they appear to have power.

The doors arent unlocking for me either. It appears to try to unlock them, the lights flash but they dont unlock. If I hit the lock button twice the horn chirps a confirmation. Does the default programing need to be altered to get the doors to lock/unlock?

Gonna reread the instructions then give it a fresh look in the am to make sure I have the wires run correctly. It is a '05 f150.

Ok, i r dum.

In the instructions:
Important Note!
In order to access transmitter and option programming
it will be necessary to manually turn the interior light to
the ON position using the dimmer switch.

Well I will see what I can do with it tomorrow.
