Headlights come on for no reason when parked

I have a 2005 F150 SuperCrew FX4. Recently, I have come out from work (about 3:30 am) and my battery is dead. The first time the light were barely on and would not allow me to turn them off. I know they went off when I locked the truck up before going in to work. After having the truck parked out at a friends house one night, (I was not there to witness this) he said that the headlights just turned on about 11:30 at night and were still on when he went to bed around 2:00 am. Anyone have any ideas on this.

Hi, have you checked some of the other threads? It appears that there could be a problem with the GEM or sometimes the power dist box. Also, does your window leak?

Same thing happened to my brother with his 99 Dodge ram, but he caught it before the battey died, he said it was the daytime running light module you might want to start there
