Under the hood light
Does anyone know of a good way to put in a under the hood light?
I bought a used 05 screw and there is no light under the hood. So I was wondering if any body ever put one in and did they use a mercury switch. I checked with Ford parts and was told that they had too many problems with them in the past and they have been eliminated as an option.

Go to the wrecking yard and pull one off of any vel,they use a mercury switch setup.They may have left the wire for the light on the firewall and just plug it into it,if not find some power under the hood to hook up too.Some of the lights had covers and others just the bulbs,so pick what you want to install.
