Cruise Control not working
Cruise Control not working
I have an 88 f-150 with an inop cruise control. I had the steering wheel off a while back for ignition switch work. The cruise worked after that, but just quit one day on the home from work. I changed my turn signal switch, as the brushes looked the side of a mountain instead of flat. this got my resistance readings going to the amplifer pretty close to what the shop manual says. One of the first steps in the troubleshooting flow chart says to check the clutch switch. The book claims it's a plastic plunger switch mounted to the bake/clutch support on the side near the driver door. I've been under the dash looking for this switch, but can't find it. If anybody knows where this switch is, please let me know. The only plastis switch I see is the vacuum dump valve on the brake pedal.
