hey i have a 95 f150 with 4.9 and 5 spd and i want to install an autometer tach and need help on where to hook the wire up to the coil or somewhere else it has a coil pack i think not the old soda can lookin one but the little box type it has the coil wire to the cap and another plug with 2 wires do i splice into one of those or somewere else?

 

The red wire goes to a 12v source that's only hot when the key is on.
The black wire goes to ground.
The white wire goes to a dash lamp.
The green wire goes to the negative post on the coil (black wire w/ light green tracer).
