tsunami products

I got this from a buddy who bought a truck that had it on it. Pretty cool, reads your voltage right on top!

Supposedly, when installed, it fits directly on top of you posts. The increased surface area of the nickel plated blocks that will then distibute power are supposed to decrease resistance and aid in keeping power levels at their max. Quite frankly, I don't think it does **** but add a couple of outputs for power, and inputs for ground, and look cool with a volt meter built in.

Interesting, but you wouldn't want to run a ground wire all the way back to the battery (unless it was for one of those trick underhood mounted cigarette lighters, for the mechanic that smokes. lol.). Ford was nice enough to give most of it's customers a starter relay, which essentially doubles as the place you power your accessories from. It's convenient, and it lessens the chance of creating a spark near the battery. Nothing ruins your day quite like having a battery explode in your face, or so I'm told. lol.

It's cute, and I like the idea of having a voltmeter readout right there all the time, but I wouldn't ever buy one myself. Of course, that's just me.

I put it on tonight. It's really a pain in the azz unless you change to GM style terminals for the main wires, which I didn't. But the volt meter looks cool.
