No juice to the starter, Help!!!

I have a 99 150 4x4 5.4
My truck aways starts cold, but after running for around and hour it will not start, always. Let it cool for an hour and it always starts.
I have replaced batt. starter, cables. Is there a relay that is possibly the problem? And can i get to it, with limited tools? And where might this relay hind. I need help, I'm running out of Christmas money, it seems that everything i own wants money thrown at it.

On your year I'm not sure if the location is the same as later years but you could have saved a lot of your money if you had done some testing before throwing money at the problem.
Good luck.

the starter relay is on the fire wall behind this plastic cover. it just clips on.

This is the relay.

Thanks Lees99
That looks easy enough to get to. As far as testing, at first it seemed to say battery plus it needed a batt. As far as the starter replacement everyone including this site said it was a starter being it had a 160,000 on it. I had even takin it to a local mechanic and they couldn't figure it out. And thought it was a ignition switch but not sure. I hope this does the fix. Thanks again

a quick way to check to see if its the relay. when it doesn't start, turn on the key and then go to the relay and put a screwdriver between the 2 big posts. by doing this you will by-pass it. make sure the truck is in park. you will get a little sparking.

I'm glad you didn't take what I said the wrong way, but no one on this board can tell you absolutely what is wrong in these cases without some testing.
And shame on these shops that can't at least do that much to find out for you.
Happy Holidays.
