Code and then no code
You know you have a fuel problem so that has to be solved first. The 542 code tells you this as well as seeing the fuel pressre go to zero.
Second the injectors are a bit small for the mods and size of the engine but work that out after the running issues are cleared.
SD engine control has a hard time with longer duration cams so that could be part of the idle problem.
You can normally run the fuel pump with the engine off by grounding a pin at the test connector and the ignition switch in RUN.
Looking at the test connector with the two pins up, the last pin on the right will operate the pump when grounded. This is the same lead the EEC grounds.

Thanks for the reply, but the fuel pump works fine. The cam is ground just for sd systems. The only diff between my setup and a 93 lightning is the 10:1 comp. The 93 ran with 8:7.1 dish pistons (13cc), and with the gt-40 heads that came with it gave it a 79cc combustion chamber. Im using flat tops.
Like I said, when it runs it runs fine...... spin those 31's easy. I would like an opinion on the cpu board itself being corrupt.
Thanks for the Assist
