multi-conductor recommendation

I'm in the process of wiring some new emergency lights on my 2000. I want to use relays under the hood to activate them. I'll be using RadioShack 30A relays and their 275-731 illuminated switches.

Can you guys recommend a light multi-conductor wire to run from my overhead console to the relays under the hood? I need a total of six conductors to run four switches/relays with LED indicators.

I'm leery of using lightly insulated stuff that I've read about on other websites like cat-5 cable and telephone cable because constant vibration might wear through the insulation.

Beldon and others make multi conductor instrumentation cable in the typical sizes you would need from 16 to 24 AWG. Shielded and un-shielded. It usually will have a 300V rated pvc jacket. Stop by your local electrical contractor. They usually have lots of scraps laying around they will give you. I believe Home Depot may carry some also.
