Windshield Wipers Gone Crazy 2000f150

Wipers came on when I had my left turn signal on. Then later on that day they came on just driving down the road. Could the swich need replacing, or is there another problem.

This may be the fix

One thing to stress, be sure to smear clean dielectric grease on the small brass contacts also the whole switch does not need to be removed only the end cap (use a small knife to pry off the end cap)

Thanks Jim

If the mal-function switch isn't the direct problem you may have the "phantom wipe", do a SEARCH, you'll see what I mean.
