Hey guys/girls i just bought a 98 f150 4.6 l and the overdrive is not working. when i press the button the light does not appear and does not engage. thought i would ask around befor taking it in some where, where they will try to convince me the solution is replacing the engine. so wheats up? thanks.

I'm wondering about this too. I don't know if the light is out, or the OD off function doesn't work. FYI- I used to flip out of OD about 3 times or so a week, atleast.

I believe there is an electrical switch that controls the OD. X
