HeadLights will not turn on
HeadLights will not turn on
I'm having problems with my headlights. The parking lights turn on but the headlights do not. If I mess with the high beam switch they'll turn on. The high beam's work if I pull the switch in but not in the locked position. Any suggestions?

I may be having a similar problem with my headlights
Hello,

I may be having a similar problem.
Here's the problem.
I started the truck. Turned on the headlight switch, running lights went on but not the headlights. I pulled the turn signal toward me to see if the high beams were working, they came on. When I released the turn signal and it spring back to its normal position, the high beams went off (as expected), and the headlights came on. I figured something in the steering column switch must have been
stuck for a second.
Later, I shut off the truck (and turned the lights off). A little
later when I re-started the truck, same problem existed. However, this time, after I pulled back on the turn signal to see if the high beams were working, the head lights did not come on.
Also, when I push the turn signal forward, the high beams do not come on. They will come on if I pull the turn signal towards me.
Let me know how you make out and I'll do the same.
One suggestion I received was that it was in the turn siganl switch on the column. I haven't taken it off yet. I'll let you know.

Ken
