2005 F150 - need help with the trailer electrical hook-up

Hi. We recently purched a F150. It has a factory installed towing package. We have three trailers. Two have standard 7-point electrical connectors, and one has a standard 4-point connector. They all work fine with my 2000 GMC Yukon, but I can't get them to work with the F150. I get running lights and right turn signal only. I've had this in to the dealer twice. The first time was told there was a "loose" connection, and was sent home.........the second time I was told there were "blown fuses and a bad harness" -- this was supposedly fixed, but the problem still persists........ does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this ?

thanks

Mac Tools is now offering a nifty plug in test plug. (Did I just say that?) It plugs right into your trailer connection on the vehicle - between the vehicle and the trailer. Through a series of LED's, it shows you where the problem is. If you verrify that it's the truck - and it sounds like you have - the dealer should fix it under warranty. I'd still check the trailer though. If you still want to chase it yourself, there's a bunch of fuses and relays just for the trailer in your truck. Check your Owner's Manual. Since it's under warranty, I'd let the dealer do it though.
