can you help...blown diag. power tool fuse
I am new to the board, thanks for any help you can provide.... My harmonic balance went out and my son in law changed it, since then the check engine light has and is on, truck ran fine, went and had the fuel system cleaned and had diagnostic testing done, they told me the sensor for the harmonic balence is not picking up the harmonic balance, they knew before hand that I had this replaced.... After I get it home and used the turn signals would not work for 20 secounds and the same with the 4 ways, like it took time for them to warm up, the lights work fine now. I noticed that the horn did not work and was going to check the fuse when I had time,(today) the past week the truck dies for a split secound...ie. going 70mph and the truck jerks, look down at the spedo and it was at 35mph and climing, I was making note of the miles to my deer lease and it was set back to the total miles on the vehicle....its like all power was lost for a split secound, now it happens more often.....today when I looked at the fuse for the horn it also is for the "diagnostic tool power fuse" also.....could this fuse be the problem or could the shop have burnt my electronics? I will be replacing the fuse today, am concerned that I may have damage to the computer..... any one with any insight? Have not spoken to the shop yet, not impressed with them, they left the sensor hook up wires under the hood loose and not caped to the fire wall and left their diagnostic cables in my truck....who ever did the work was sloppy to say the least....
Thanks
