Hello everyone

I have spent lots of time reading the forums and searching for a how-to for turn signal mirrors

everyone says hookup the 2 wires for each light but no one ever really said what they hook the 2 wires up to. i know one of them is a ground and the other one goes to a turn signal but many of the people hooked them up have hooked them up to an XLT which has the turn signal harness already in the door. an 03 xl is wired for a lot but all the wireing is in the kick panels , ive put a test light to the harness's that just sit there under the kick panels and they do have power to them. I also have fuses for all the power accessories that an xlt has.

has anyone hooked up turn signal mirrors to an xl that could provide some information on what they hooked the turn signal lights to? wire color/location/etc? i have the turn signal covers and they fit nicely i just need to wire the lights!

i found some info that might help.

Green with White stripe wire for the driver side turn signal
White with Blue Stripe wire for the passenger side turn signal

these wires are located under the dash just below the left of the steering column. this info came from the muth website...

should work for 97-03 but i wont know until i install myself.. or unless someone here uses this info.

oh probably good idea to use 5amp fuses..
