Sounds like the relay that allows power to the high beams is bad.

I'm having the same problem. No high beam lights with the switch forward. If I pull the high beam switch back I do get lights. I'm not getting any lights with the switch on the dash just parking lights. Any suggestions would help greatly.

The multifunction switch does go bad. This is cropping up in the 92-93-94s due to age.

Like adrianspeeder said they do go bad. I had to replace my stalk because I was getting a little tired of wiggling it to get my washers to work and to have the turn signals come on steadily. Replaced it and all is well
