Keys In The Ignition warning

I work on the 6666 (four sixes) ranch in Texas. Were using chevys but the foreman put us on a couple of F-150 FX 4's. Great trucks by the way. We fight over them. We are out of the trucks at least a hundred times a day. My question is: Can anybody tell me how to disconect the "warning" beeping when you leave the keys in the ignition. We never take keys out of the trucks and usually leave the doors open upon exit. That noise is driving me crazy. Any help would be great.

Gus - here is a post that I did for a mod that will take care of your problem:

Since doing it though, I have found out that it also kills your "headlights on" reminder and keeps the headlights from flashing when you lock the doors.

Thank you very much LightingCrew. That did the job. Sorry for the foul language earlier in the week. Have a good one.

The simple solution is to turn the key to the run position. This will also turn on the accessories, but with the door open, it'll only beep for a few seconds, then stop. If you're only out for a few seconds, it's no big deal, but if you were going to be out for an hour, you wouldn't want to leave the door open anyways, would you?

You are out of your element here donnie. You're like a child at the theater who wonders into the middle of the movie and asks what's going on?

WTF? How did I get dragged into the mud-slinging? I was just trying to offer an alternative solution to the original question. When did that place me "out of [my] element???"
