Hey guys, 1995 f150 302 automatic 4wd...Does anyone know exactly where the 1/4' plug in wire (on the starter ) comes from.... I have to install a new one...I am looking to splice it into the wiring harness so help in locating that would also be appreciated.

the wire should go to the solonoid on the firewall or to a fuse block, it usually takes powe direct from the battery due to its high anmperage when starting

 

Not the number 6 wire....This is about a 12-14 gauge wire that plugs in to the starter via a small 1/4" plug....I think there maybe a relay involved..think maybe the nuetral switch is involved
