Has anyone had to have their compressor replaced? My AC quit working a week ago, I thought it was low on refrigirant but it is not. While checking it I noticed the compressor barely turns while the truck is running. It makes about a 1/4 turn every couple of seconds and thats it. So I am assuming that is whats bad and I also am assuming its going to cost some $$$. If anyone has had that done how much did it cost?

 

It has an electric clutch. The clutch may be worn from/or the compressor is nearly locked up or both.

 

If it helps it also makes a really loud rattle. I am assuming the bearings are shot.
