Please Help Starter Trouble!

I just replaced the starter on my 95 F150 V-8 5.0 liter engine truck.

I tried to start it when I did, I heard a KLUNK! then everything went dead no lights no radio no nothing I had the battery checked its good the solienoid is brand new as is the alternator what is wrong?

The guy at advanced Auto said there was a ground some where but I can't find it.
Any help would be very appriciated.

More then likely you have a bad positive battery cable. They corrode from the cable end down the cable. You sometimes cannot tell its even corroded until you trim back some of the insulation. The copper turns a nasty greenish white and she quits conducting electrons. Good luck.

Check and clean all the battery, starter and the ground connections. If you have some jumper cables then you can use them to bypass a suspect bad cable.
