Wiring Harness to Horn
I just bought a 1988 F-150, 302 w/ 5sp. Only 60,000 miles. It has an aftermarket horn. Horn is not connected.
Where are the power leads for the horn? I see a harness with two loose connectors running over the driver-side fender well. But they don't power up (digital volt meter) when I push the horn button.
Also, Ford offers 3 batteries. With my engine and a towing/camper package, do I want the 650, 750 or 850 cranking amps battery? I'm moving to the mountains in Northern Calif and will put less than 3,000 miles on the truck annually. Most driving will be 2 mile trips to town. Winter temps get into high 20's for about 2 weeks.
