Programing a PATS key

If its done wrong is it possible to erase an already programed key?

No you must have two working pats keys to program the third or more keys, you will not loose the existing keys just add to them it's not like programing key fobs where you start from scratch, you are only adding.

No. Once a key is in the system, you cannot accidentally erase it. The only way to erase keys from the memory is to use a WDS connected to the PATS system at the stealership.

If you're referring to the method where you already have 2 programmed keys and you want to program a third key - no, it does not erase the 2 already programmed keys.
