I got a 98 supercab. Does anybody have the problem with thier dome light staying on for a long time after the doors have be shut? My dome light stays on for a real long time after getting out of my truck and shutting everything off. And also, my,"Door ajar" light does not go off on the dash sometimes.

Saturate the door switches with WD40, and this should solve your problem.

 

The problem is that I don't know where the door switches are. I look inside the door jam and I don't see any switches or buttons like on older vehicles. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks for any and all help. Mark M

 

The switches are mounted on the door latches. spray the latches with wd-40 and then close/open the door a couple times.
