Brake And Dir Lts Again

2000 F150. Had problems with accasional blowing of fuse 13 for the last year or so. Thought it was corrected after disconnecting the brake sensor for the cruise control and after rebuilding the MFS. Problem has surfaced again after about 3 months. This time fuse isn't blowing all the time but the left directional will sound as normal but the indicator light will fade to none then come back in a minute or so. Seems to be related to brake light switch as before it gets better they'll be a high frequency clicking sound until I hit the brake, then all's back to normal. It feels like the brake light switch goes through a cycle of failure then back to normal as if there's a contact that rotates in there when depressed. Like russain rulette. Anyone have comment or observation to this? And can someone give me the Ford part number for the switch itself. Pep Boys sold me a #E9B-13480-AA.
It doesn't look like what's under the dash but that seems to be covered with a shroud of sorts. The switch they sold me only has 2 spade terminals and the plyg under the dash has at least 4.
